![]() In Brief: Frederick County Virtual School Virtual SAT Prep is now registering - Click Here The Frederick County Virtual School provides high quality, rigorous courses as an alternative for students whose instructional needs cannot be met in their home school. All classes are facilitated by highly qualified teachers and most are taught at the AP (Advanced Placement) or Honors level. There are a limited number of “non-leveled” elective courses. Although students may do their daily work at a time of their choice, they will proceed through the course content on a fixed schedule. Courses follow the regular FCPS semester calendar, and run for either a semester or a year, depending on the course. With the exception of the initial orientation session and certain science labs, classes do not meet face to face... Most classes are offered two evenings a week at the Walkersville B Building from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Students are either dual enrolled or full time Flexible Evening High School students. Students who are dual enrolled attend another high school during the day and FEHS two evenings per week. Students who are full time attend only Flexible Evening High School in the evening. All students take only one class at a time. Students who wish to become a full time FEHS student must call Pam Imes at 240-236-8421 to schedule an enrollment appointment.
