How do I decide? Flex Or Virtual?

The best people to assist you in making this decision are your parents and your high school counselor. Below are some questions you and your counselor may discuss to help you arrive at a good decision.

Do I have daily access to the Internet?

If you do not have regular, daily access to the Internet, it is going to be difficult, if not impossible, for you to complete an FCVS online course successfully.

Do I like to work independently?

An FCVS online teacher will usually get back to you within a day; however, at FLEX, there will be a teacher with you when you are doing your work providing more immediate support.

Am I a good time manager?

If you cannot manage your own time, then you should probably not take an FCVS online course. It will be up to you to schedule your own work and study time. At FLEX, you have a required time and place to work.

Do I have time to wait until an online course becomes available?

You may attend FLEX as soon as you have attended an intake; however, if you opt for FCVS, you must wait until the next FCVS online course begins.

If you answered “no” to one or more of the above questions, then you should consider attending FLEX
